spoon-business: The Daily Recognizer (Thursday morning)

Been busy with Real Life (TM). Sorry for the delay.

Today's episode is brought to you by "Once More, With Feeling," the really
weird musical episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" that my roomies want
me to burn on a VCD, but I can't get it to work - the video works, but the
audio track keeps disappearing and I don't know why. Grr. I'm glad blank
CDs are cheap.

"A Whole New Ball of Wax" is 368/0.
Congenital Optimist has ruled (sorta) on CFJ 338.

Glotmorf's attempted Kick in Scoff!'s Ass failed, since it wasn't phrased
in the precise form required by the ass-kicking rule.

Hm. It may be a moot point anyway: The Voice requests a CFJ on that very
same subject. CFJ 369, assigned to Congenital Optimist.

"Precedents, Schmrecedents" is 370/0.

Dan's "Judgement/Proposal overhaul" is 371/0.

Dan (in Limbo) snags the PIG and throws it at Scoff!, then declares Gender
and enters The Grid.

Dan's "This ruleset isn't big enough for the both of us!" is 372/0
(rectified: I closed off your big comment at the end.)

Wonko buys a Big Rock (targeted) for 21 points. It lands at (9,12) with a
nice thud. No Siren, sadly.

Wonko buys a Pinball Gun.

Scoff!'s "Fixing my own mistakes" is 373/0.
"Judicial Rear View" is 374/0.

Scoff! has ruled on CFJ 325. And it's a doozy. If you just skimmed it
earlier, go read it. It rivals my "Secret Wars" de-twisting of the
mass-forfeiture logic. Most impressive. (Someone oughta give me Style
Points or something so I can dole 'em out like candy for coolness such as
this.)

Wonko's "Still a Few Bugs in the System" is rectified ("stil"->"still" in
the title) and recognized (375/0).

As Wonko pointed out, those un-caught Gremlins bounced: The Bandwidth
Gremlin bounces off Scoff! (who loses 2 points to Wonko), the Witch
Gremlin bounces off Rob (4 points), and Uncle Psychosis forgot to duck
the Scoring Gremlin (1 point).

The Voice buys a pinball gun.

Luigi is airborne (dest. Congenital Optimist).
The King Gremlin is airborne (Iain).

Congenital Optimist catches Luigi. Whee!
Iain (in Limbo, I believe) catches the King Gremlin and tosses it back to
Glotmorf.

UIN's "Kill this man." is 376/0.
"So damn ugly." is 377/0.

Uncle Psychosis' "Sore" expires.
Glotmorf's "Kicker of Asses" expires.

The following Grid Actions are acknowledged (since they don't occur til
the end of the nweek):
Congenital Optimist's move
The Voice's move
Wonko's move

The following doesn't technically occur until this evening (when nday 6
begins) but I'm doing it now to get it out of the way:

The Yeti moves around a whole lot. From (13,6) it moves to:
12,7
13,7
13,5 (moving through 13,6 which is already Frozen)
14,6
17,9 (15,7 and 16,8 are Frozen)
18,8
19,9
19,10
