    I just realized that the Venetia corps contained 2 inf., not 1.  That means there were 8 defenders at Milan, not 7.  And that means that it *is* possible for the garrison to inflict more than one casualty on the besiegers if they roll 20% casualties in the first round.  So I guess we need a roll from Everett after all.
