Re: [eia] A Letter of Grievance

France agreed to forego obvious advantage in order to generate good will
between Itself and the British Coalition. We expected that the members of
the Coalition were gentlemen who would reciprocate that good will.
Apparently that assumption was incorrect.
Since the British Coalition has decided to take maximum advantage of the
situation they find themselves in, France has no choice but to act in a
similar fashion. We would be foolish to do otherwise. It is a shame that
We have been put in this position, but so be it.
In accordance with the treaty of peace between France and the British
Coalition, France cedes Languedoc to Spanish control.

Napoleon Bonaparte,
Emperor of France
