[eia] Re: Getting Spain up to speed

I agree that waiting another 2 weeks to get started is not an option.  I have no problem with allowing Danny to re-write Spain's economic orders for March 1805 so that we can continue the game.  (Actually, since all other steps of the economic phase were public knowledge, only steps C. and E. need to be repeated.  A call has already gone out to the list to see if Spain has lent or received money from any of its allies in step C.  Once the replies are in, the only thing that will be left for Danny to do is part E. (expenditures) of the Economic Phase.  I doubt that his monetary expenditures would have changed significantly if he had known about the upcoming peace, so that's really not much of a concern to me.  Spend your money and manpower however you want, Danny.)
I assume that I (as the French player) will not be welcome to see Spain's economic decisions.  So, JJ and Danny, when can the 2 of you get together to get this minor hurdle out of the way?  (Perhaps this could be handled over the phone?)  Obviously, the two of you will also need to talk about Spain's April Political Phase orders at the same time that you handle step E. of the March's Economic Phase.

Hi, guys.  I just got a message from Jason (the former Spanish player), saying that Kyle and I won't see him this weekend as planned.  This means that we wouldn't be able to get Spain's economic orders from the last turn for another 2 weeks.  I propose that we just walk Danny through doing the orders himself, so that we can go on.  This makes sense, I think, since Danny is the one who'll be living with the consequenses anyway, and we would be careful, Kyle, not to abuse any knowledge that we've gained since the economic orders were completed.
